Drafting-Part Time
KL Architects is a New Jersey firm with a diverse project portfolio across the tri-state and Northeast region. Project types include site plan development, retail, multi-family, healthcare and banking. We are seeking to expand our team with the following position.
This will be an in-office position.

Responsibilities
Drafting support for Architectural Projects from schematic phase through construction documents.
- Develop as-built documents and reports.
- Preparation of documentation to support municipal planning applications.
- Knowledge of building codes and building systems
- Develop construction documents and details with supervision.
- Coordination with team members
- Ability to be a collaborative team member.
- Ability to develop and present design concepts in 3D.
Qualifications
- Rising 4th or 5th year student in Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Program or Master’s Program in US accredited institution.
- Demonstrated Proficiency in AutoCAD, ability with Revit, Illustrator, 3D rendering applications a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and manage priorities and deadlines.
- Technical expertise related to design and construction.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
