Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and competent WordPress Website Builder to create a templated content management solution that will allow our marketing team to easily edit and manage website content. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in WordPress, UI/UX design, and web development, with a keen eye for creating user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and customize WordPress websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and optimized for performance.
  • Design and implement templated content management solutions for our marketing team, enabling them to easily update and manage the website content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to translate branding and business goals into an engaging digital experience.
  • Develop intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces with a focus on UI/UX design principles.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
  • Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies, particularly within the WordPress ecosystem.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building WordPress websites with a focus on templated content management solutions.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with popular WordPress themes and builders such as Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg.
  • Experience with SEO optimization, website performance tuning, and responsive web design.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous web design and development work (please provide a link in your cover letter).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Please submit your latest academic transcripts, highlighting any relevant courses in UI/UX or design.
  • Provide a portfolio link in your cover letter to showcase your best website designs and UI/UX work.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience working with content management teams to create easy-to-use backend systems.
  • Knowledge of WordPress security best practices.
  • Experience in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch) is a plus.
