Perform a variety of duties in assisting a certified teacher in the implementation and support of instructional programs for students in group or one-on-one settings.

All Substitute Teachers MUST meet the following qualifications:

Have a valid Missouri Teacher Certificate
OR hold a valid Content Substitute Teacher Certificate through the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE).
Minimum requirement for Substitute Teacher Certification (MO): 36 semester credit hours from a regionally accredited college, academic degree-granting college or university OR complete a 20 hour DESE approved course.
