Account Growth Executive
Job Location: Coon Rapids, MN (Primarily In-Office)
This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Account Growth Executive (in other companies this person could hold the title of Inside Sales Executive – Account Development, Account Executive, Client Success Manager, or Customer Growth Manager), focused on expanding service utilization within existing accounts and driving upsell growth.
In this role, you will develop strong client relationships by conducting regular business reviews, providing consultative insights, and proactively identifying gaps where Verus services can deliver added value. You’ll manage a defined book of business, working closely with service delivery teams to align client needs with our managed IT, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in sales or account management. While technical experience is not required, it is considered a plus. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and committed to building meaningful solutions for customers. You should feel confident using software tools to manage client accounts, schedule appointments, and stay organized.
General job duties include:
- Build relationships with existing clients through regular check-ins
- Identify and close upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Educate clients on new services and industry trends (e.g., compliance, AI, cybersecurity)
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pipeline in the HS CRM
- Collaborate with service delivery to ensure high customer satisfaction and renewal rates
- Track client health metrics and proactively prevent churn
- Preferred Skills & Qualifications::
- 2+ years of inside sales or account management experience in IT, MSP, or SaaS
- Familiarity with MSP offerings: firewalls, cloud services, remote monitoring, cybersecurity
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- CRM experience (HubSpot, ConnectWise)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work primarily on-site in an office setting. Standard use of office equipment and computers.
Compensation:
The compensation is expected to start at $45,000. Our offer will be determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
