Substitute Teacher-Greater Milwaukee Area

Edustaff LLC is Hiring Substitutes Teachers for the following Greater Milwaukee Area School Districts:

  • The School District of New Berlin
  • Wauwatosa School District
  • School District of South Milwaukee
  • Germantown School District
  • St. Francis School District
  • Carter's Christian Academy 

Building Substitute Teacher

Pay: $160-$200 per day for Building Substitute Teachers

Job Requirements of an Edustaff Building Substitute Teacher:

  • Must report to work Monday-Friday at assigned school site in the district
  • Must be willing to work in any assignment needed each day
  • In the event no substitute is needed at the home base school, the building sub may be assigned to another building in the district with a need
  • 3 or 5 Year WI Substitute License (or another valid WI teaching license)

Daily Substitute Teachers

Pay: $125-140 per day for Daily Substitute Teachers

  • Perform a variety of duties in assisting a licensed teacher in the implementation and support of instructional programs for students in group or one-on-one settings.
  • Prepare instructional materials, maintain classroom discipline, and lead planned activities designated by a licensed teacher.
  • Help develop and maintain a positive school-wide learning environment.

In order to qualify to be a substitute teacher in the State of Wisconsin, you must:

  • Must hold an Associate Degree or higher and hold a valid WI Teaching or Substitute License with the WI Department of Public Instruction. (We will provide information to apply for licensing after you apply on our website at www.edustaff.org and attend an Edustaff workshop.)
  • Submit a Negative TB Test or TB Assessment Form
  • Pass a Background Check Prior to Employment
