Job description

       The Rutgers Utilities Department is looking for a person with Autocad experience to fill a part time position in the Rutgers University Utilities Department. This position requires a general understanding of drafting practices, at least one year of engineering schooling and a good understanding of Autocad Rel 2013 or greater. Additionally, experience in Civil / Survey is desired.

 

The responsibilities of the job are as follows:

 

·        Assist department in maintenance of drawings

 

·        Assist department in expansion of database capabilities

 

·        Create drawings for special projects done by the utilities department

 

·        Field verify drawings against existing conditions

 

·        Perform site survey $17 / hr to start
