We are seeking a Legal Analyst to join the firm conduct legal due diligence on prospective portfolio companies. Come join a leader in the venture ecosystem and spearhead compliance initiatives for global portfolio companies in the technology space!
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain legal and compliance documents, including contracts and resolutions
- Assist with the formation of legal entities and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory filings and inquiries
- Coordinate legal projects working with internal teams to manage objectives and deadlines
- Identify potential risks and ensure investment terms safeguard the firms interests
- Perform various administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in legal studies or related field (Master's or J.D. is a plus)
- 1+ year of experience in legal/compliance research (Venture Capital experience is highly preferred)
- Knowledge of corporate finance and investment structures
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- An interest in the venture capital/technology ecosystem
- Ability to work 4 days onsite in our San Jose, CA office
