Job Overview

We are seeking a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to help build the internal tools that power GK’s day-to-day execution. This is a high-trust, high-output role for someone who can move quickly, make clean decisions, and deliver working software that the team relies on immediately. Compensation is structured as equity and/or deferred pay.

What You’ll Work On

Project scope changes based on the company’s most urgent needs. Typical builds include:

Internal HR and recruiting systems (candidate intake, scoring, workflow automation)

Operational tooling for editorial and production (dashboards, trackers, scheduling, approvals)

Publishing support systems (lightweight CMS tooling, content pipelines, permissions)

Business visibility tools (metrics dashboards, reporting, performance tracking)

Integrations across our core platforms (Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, Stripe)

Responsibilities

Rapidly prototype and ship internal tools that remove bottlenecks for Operations, Editorial, and Sales

Build modular application logic that can be extended as the company grows

Design practical data structures and workflows that keep systems consistent and maintainable

Integrate APIs and services cleanly, securely, and reliably

Partner directly with the Lead Solutions Architect on priorities, sequencing, and delivery

Preferred Technical Fit

Python (3.10+), Streamlit, Pandas

Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations

Comfort working across the stack: UI, data, automation, and deployment

Familiarity with vector databases is a plus

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to ship usable products quickly (projects, internships, startups, or strong personal work all count)

Strong judgment: you know what matters, what can wait, and how to keep systems simple

Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities

Clear communicator who can work independently and deliver with minimal oversight
