Sales Business Development Intern

Hello Marketing is a boutique marketing agency specializing in construction, real estate, property management, and emerging verticals including sports and events. We focus on strategic content, personal branding, and business development  especially on LinkedIn.

This is not a passive internship. Interns here are expected to think, communicate, and take ownership.


About the Role

The Sales & Business Development Intern will work directly with Hello Marketing’s leadership team to support outreach, pipeline development, and revenue-driving initiatives.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in how sales and marketing actually work together — not theory, not busywork.

What You’ll Work On

  • Sales and outreach initiatives for Hello Marketing and select clients

     
  • CRM support and pipeline tracking

     
  • Prospect research and list building

     
  • Drafting cold emails and outreach messaging

     
  • Supporting business development ideas and campaigns

     
  • Expo and event research

     
  • Learning how sales metrics are tracked and evaluated

     
  • Using AI tools to streamline outreach and workflows

     


What We’re Looking For

This internship is a good fit if you are:

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

     
  • Curious and willing to ask questions

     
  • Organized and detail-oriented

     
  • Interested in sales, marketing, or business development

     
  • Comfortable being uncomfortable (learning, feedback, outreach)

     
  • Strong written and verbal communicator

     

Sales experience is a plus, but not required.


Expectations

  • Attend weekly intern calls (Tuesdays @ 9:30 AM ET)

     
  • Complete work on time and communicate proactively

     
  • Take feedback and apply it

     
  • Maintain a professional presence on LinkedIn (posting at least 1x/week)

     
  • Come prepared and engaged. This is a working role, not observational
