Location: Hoboken, NJ
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week to start (with opportunity for additional hours as needed)

About Us

We are a small, growing dog bakery specializing in handcrafted dog treats and celebration cakes made with high-quality, dog-safe ingredients. We’re looking for a reliable and creative Assistant Baker to help support daily production and decorating needs.

Responsibilities

Assist with baking dog treats, cookies, and specialty items

Decorate dog cakes, cookies, and treats with attention to detail and consistency

Follow established recipes, food safety standards, and preparation guidelines

Help with prep work, icing, shaping, and finishing baked goods

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace

Assist with packaging and labeling as needed

Work efficiently to meet production deadlines, especially during busy seasons

Requirements

Baking experience required (professional or strong home-baking background)

Cake decorating skills required

Cookie decorating skills required (icing, piping, detail work)

Comfortable working with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality

Ability to follow instructions and recipes precisely

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate kitchen items

Passion for dogs is a big plus 🐾

Schedule & Growth

2 days per week to start

Additional hours may be available during holidays, special orders, or as the business grows
