Job Overview:

TD&H Engineering is seeking a full-time detailer/designer to join our precast concrete/structural engineering department in our Media, PA office. The position focuses on precast concrete drafting and detailing structures using Tekla PC, as well as quality checking precast concrete erection and fabrication drawings. The designer will work closely with engineers and drafters as part of an integrated project team. The workload is diverse with projects ranging from parking garages, warehouses, industrial facilities, and municipal buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers and team members to draft and detail various precast concrete projects in Tekla Structures PC.
• Review erection drawings and fabrication drawings for conformance to design.
• Coordinate with engineers and designers on multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion.
• Develop and maintain structural Tekla models for precast concrete projects in accordance with design and project standards.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings and coordination models for precast and structural components.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of BIM standards and workflows within the precast department.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years in precast concrete or structural/concrete detailing preferred. 
• Proficiency with Tekla Structures PC BIM.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Strong understanding of structural drafting standards and practices
• Skilled in reviewing shop and precast erection drawings.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
