Summer 2026 Information Technology (Helpdesk) Intern within Hedge Fund

New York City based Hedge Fund seeksĀ an IT Helpdesk Intern to join our team and support our employees with their technical needs. As an IT Helpdesk Intern, you will work closely with our IT Helpdesk team to provide first-line technical support to our employees. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving a variety of technical issues, including hardware and software problems, network connectivity issues, and email and productivity suite issues. You will also be responsible for providing documentation and support for new IT projects and initiatives.

Overview:

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues
  • Provide documentation and support for new IT projects and initiatives
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of IT systems and applications
  • Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving common IT issues is a plus
  • Experience with Windows operating systems is a plus
  • Experience with mobile productivity tools a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
