2026 Technology Resilience Office Intern

General:

The Resilience Office intern will join the Resilience Office within the Infrastructure Operations Technology Team, focusing on creating and maintaining critical IT resilience documentation. This role involves assisting with updates to the Infrastructure Operations disaster recovery plan, mapping system dependencies, and more. The intern will work closely with the Resilience Office Leader, participate in weekly intern cohort programs, and collaborate with fellow interns on group projects. Important: this internship is ideal for detail-oriented students skilled in technical writing who want to build foundational documentation that keeps infrastructure secure & recoverable.

 

Role Description:

As a Resilience Office intern, you will support the Resilience Office with documentation and process tasks related to Infrastructure Operation Resilience. This hands-on internship involves participating in discussions and activities focused on Operation Resilience Planning and Execution. The role requires a general understanding of Infrastructure Platforms and includes preparing documentation, spreadsheets, and presentations to improve executive reporting. Additionally, you will engage in resilience assessment discussions concerning critical IT platforms and applications.             

 

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, revise, and manage essential resilience documents, including Infrastructure Operations disaster recovery plans and related materials.
  • Maintain the document depository, ensuring version control, accessibility, and compliance with organization standards.
  • Support resilience testing by updating documentation based on findings
  • Develop clear process flows and diagrams to visualize recovery procedure & system architecture

 

Job Knowledge Requirements:

  • Basic IT knowledge of servers, networks, and databases
  • Documentation Skills: Ability to write clear, structured technical documents and process flows
  • Microsoft 365; proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint for report & diagrams
  • Attention to detail is crucial; must have excellent editing and organizational skills to ensure accurate, version-controlled documentation
  • Collaboration & communication; be comfortable working with other teams to gather information and present findings clearly

 

Qualifications:

  • Current students with an expected graduation date of May/June 2027
  • Preferred majors: Computer Science (with IT systems/operation), Management Information System (MIS)
