Role Overview
We're seeking a versatile and innovative intern who combines creative marketing skills with AI proficiency and digital marketing expertise. This is a unique opportunity to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced startup environment, where you'll help shape our brand identity, create compelling content, optimize our digital presence, and leverage AI tools to work smarter and faster. You'll have the autonomy to experiment, learn, and make a real impact from day one.
Responsibilities
AI-Powered Content & Marketing
- Utilize AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, etc.) to create marketing content, social media posts, and promotional materials
- Develop AI-assisted workflows to streamline content creation and marketing processes
- Create blog posts, email campaigns, and website copy with AI enhancement
- Experiment with emerging AI tools to improve marketing efficiency and output quality
Website Development & SEO
- Build and optimize our WordPress website with focus on user experience and conversion
- Implement SEO best practices including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO
- Create and optimize landing pages for services, campaigns, and lead generation
- Monitor site performance, page speed, and search engine rankings
- Develop content strategies that drive organic search traffic and improve domain authority
Paid Search & Digital Advertising
- Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max)
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis for paid search campaigns
- Write compelling ad copy and develop A/B testing strategies
- Monitor campaign performance, adjust bids, and optimize for ROI
- Track conversions and provide regular reporting on advertising metrics
- Manage advertising budgets and recommend budget allocation strategies
Creative Marketing Resources
- Design graphics, infographics, and visual content for social media and digital platforms
- Develop brand assets including presentations, one-pagers, and marketing collateral
- Create engaging video content and short-form content for social media channels
- Design patient-facing materials, explainer content, and educational resources
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and grow social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Develop content calendars and execute social media strategies
- Monitor engagement metrics and optimize content based on performance
- Research healthcare marketing trends and competitor activities
Market Research & Strategy Support
- Conduct market research on target patient populations and healthcare trends
- Identify partnership opportunities and community engagement channels
- Support business development initiatives with creative pitch materials
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform marketing strategies
General Startup Support
- Assist with various operational tasks as the company scales
- Contribute ideas for new services, programs, or marketing initiatives
- Help organize virtual or in-person events and community outreach
- Support the team with ad-hoc projects across the business
Qualifications
Required:
- Proficient with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and comfortable learning new technologies
- Strong experience with WordPress or similar tools for website development and management
- Demonstrated knowledge of SEO principles, tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.), and best practices
- Hands-on experience creating and managing Google Ads campaigns with measurable results
- Understanding of search advertising fundamentals including keyword targeting, bidding strategies, and conversion tracking
- Strong creative skills with experience in content creation, graphic design, or digital marketing
- Excellent written communication skills with attention to brand voice and messaging
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple projects
- Genuine interest in healthcare and improving patient outcomes
Preferred:
- Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.)
- Familiarity with social media management platforms and analytics tools
- Basic video editing skillsĀ
- Knowledge of healthcare industry, regulations (HIPAA), or health communications
- Experience with AI image generation tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, etc.)
- Background in marketing, communications, design, or related field
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
- Knowledge of WordPress plugins for SEO (Yoast, Rank Math, etc.) and performance optimization
- Familiarity with local SEO strategies for healthcare providers
- Experience with other advertising platforms (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
- Understanding of landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
