Unreal Engine Trainee

The Trainee's activities will assist in the development and enhancement of the Geopogo Cities platform using Unreal Engine 5, contributing to the creation of interactive geospatial visualization tools. Responsibilities include coding and scripting within Unreal Engine, integrating 3D modeling software, testing and debugging software features, and collaborating with the development team to implement novel design concepts. The role may also involve researching emerging technologies and developing AI-powered functionalities.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 development and understanding of C++ or Blueprint scripting
  • Experience with 3D modeling software such as Rhino, Revit, SketchUp, Archicad, or 3ds Max
  • Knowledge of game design principles and rendering techniques, including optimization for real-time visualization
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in software development
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team within a remote work environment
  • Experience with geospatial data and familiarity with tools for analyzing spatial information is a plus
  • Background in architecture, urban planning, computer graphics, or a related discipline is desirable
  • Creative mindset and enthusiasm for working on cutting-edge technology solutions

Your skills will grow as they are applied to the Unreal Engine development of our Geopogo Cities product. This unpaid job has flexible hours (10 hours per week or less) in any combination of virtual and in-person.
