Our office is launching a Recruitment Externship Program and is seeking a motivated Recruiting Assistant Extern / Director of Recruitment Extern to help build the next generation of professionals.
This is a hybrid, hands-on externship with real responsibility, mentorship, and a clear pathway to long-term career opportunities within a Fortune 100 organization.

Hybrid position
Two in-person offices:
Staten Island, NY
Edison, NJ
Candidates will be assigned to one primary location
Flexible schedule aligned with academic commitments
About the Role
This externship goes beyond administrative recruiting. You will work closely with leadership to help design, manage, and execute recruiting initiatives while gaining exposure to HR strategy, talent acquisition, onboarding, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities
Support recruiting and talent outreach efforts for interns, entry-level professionals, and career-track candidates
Assist in managing recruitment pipelines, scheduling interviews, and candidate communications
Help coordinate externship and internship programming
Support onboarding and training logistics
Assist with campus outreach, career events, and employer branding initiatives
Collaborate on marketing and social media efforts related to recruiting
Maintain CRM and recruiting databases
Contribute to building a strong, values-driven recruiting culture
Licensing & Professional Development
Externs will be supported and expected to study for and pass the State Life & Health Producer License Exam (NY or NJ, depending on location). This credential provides:
Paid earning opportunities as a licensed producer
Increased responsibility and leadership exposure
A strong foundation for future roles in management, recruiting leadership, or advisory tracks
Ideal Candidate Profile
HR, Psychology, Business, Communications, or related major preferred
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Interest in recruiting, people operations, or leadership development
Self-motivated, professional, and eager to learn
Comfortable working in a hybrid, fast-paced environment
