Supply Management Specialist

Job Title: Supply Management Specialist

Location: East Moline, IL 61244
Assignment Length: 12 Months + (Possible Extension)
Position Type: Contract / Contingent
Pay Rate: Hourly on W2 (All-Inclusive on SGS Payroll; Does Not Include PTO/Holiday Pay)
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Work Location: 100% Onsite

 

Position Overview

This role supports Supply Management operations by working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination, material flow, and project execution. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support supply management activities involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with design engineers, suppliers, and management to deliver expected results
  • Assist with coordination of supply management projects across disciplines and facilities
  • Support prioritization of multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates clearly across teams
  • Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, tracking, and documentation

 

What Skills You Need

  • Experience leading teams or managing projects with multiple stakeholders (academic or professional)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional project teams
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Exposure to negotiation and conflict resolution concepts
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus as needed
  • Strong computer and systems skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience or exposure to Supply Management areas such as:
    a. Supplier integration
    b. Strategic or tactical supply management
    c. Material flow
    d. Scheduling or forecasting
    e. Logistics
  • Experience with SAP or PDM workflows
  • Experience analyzing data and solving problems
  • Business or Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Exposure to sourcing, cost reduction, or change management

  • Open to recent graduates with Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related degrees
