The Role
We are seeking a passionate Coding & AI Instructor to guide elementary, middle, and high school students into the world of programming and artificial intelligence.
This role is not just about teaching code — it’s about shaping how young minds understand technology.
What You Will Do
Lead Engaging Classes
Deliver high-quality coding and AI lessons in small-group settings (in-person or online).
Teach Foundational Programming
Introduce students to Python and core programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, functions, and logical thinking.
Demystify AI
Explain AI fundamentals in age-appropriate ways, including how machines learn, how image recognition works, and how simple models are built.
Project-Based Learning
Guide students through fun, hands-on projects such as small games, creative applications, and beginner AI experiments.
Inspire Computational Thinking
Help students learn how to break problems into steps, think logically, and approach challenges with confidence.
Track Growth
Monitor student progress, review assignments, and adjust instruction to support different learning speeds.
Who You Are
Technical Foundation
Strong knowledge of Python and programming fundamentals. Familiar with basic AI or machine learning concepts.
Educator Mindset
Patient, clear communicator, and able to explain complex ideas in simple language for K–12 learners.
Engaging Teaching Style
You make learning interactive, encourage questions, and keep students curious rather than overwhelmed.
Experience (Preferred)
Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience
Experience working with children or teenagers
Participation in STEM programs, hackathons, or technical projects
Availability
Able to teach during after-school hours and/or weekends.
