Media & Broadcasting Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and motivated Media & Broadcasting Intern based in Washington DC & New York who loves storytelling, content creation, and bringing ideas to life through video and digital media.

This internship is designed for students who want real-world broadcasting experience — from concept development and scriptwriting to filming, interviewing, and post-production. You will work closely with our team to produce engaging media content focused on youth, education, and community storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating video and media content for YouTube and digital platforms
• Participate in story development, creative brainstorming, and scripting
• Support filming, interviews, and media production sessions
• Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Help organize footage, audio, and production assets
• Research topics and help craft compelling narratives
• Collaborate with the creative team on storytelling projects
  
  Qualifications
• College Junior or Senior preferred
• Major in Media, Broadcasting, Journalism, Communications, Film, or related field
• Strong interest in storytelling and creative writing
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro required
