Riflery Instructor (PAID Internship Available)
Teach Focus, Discipline, and Safety on the Range
Camp Winnebago is hiring a Riflery Instructor to run our .22 rifle range and teach campers ages 8–15 the fundamentals of marksmanship in a safe, structured environment.
Safety is the foundation of this program. Our instructor leads by example, teaching campers how to properly handle and shoot single-action bolt .22 rifles while building confidence, responsibility, and respect for range procedures.
What You’ll Do
Run and supervise daily operations of the camp riflery range
Teach campers proper firearm safety and range etiquette
Instruct beginners in basic marksmanship and shooting fundamentals
Maintain a controlled, organized, and safety-first range environment
Care for and maintain equipment and rifles
Who This Is Great For
Individuals with experience in riflery, shooting sports, or range safety
Students interested in outdoor education, coaching, or leadership
Responsible leaders who enjoy teaching and mentoring kids
Prior experience with .22 rifles or range instruction is strongly preferred.
