- Current NJ graduate student
- Recent NJ college graduate: must have graduated less than one year prior to start of the internship experience (May 2025-May 2026 graduates)
- A current undergraduate student who is a permanent NJ resident
Summary (overview of position)
AeroDefense is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO & Paid Media Intern to support our digital marketing initiatives. In this role, you won't just be running campaigns-you will help build the foundation of our digital marketing strategy by optimizing content, managing paid media, and analyzing performance data to drive results.
You will work closely with our marketing team to improve organic visibility, manage PPC campaigns, and optimize digital content for traffic, engagement, and lead generation. Your work will directly contribute to actionable marketing insights while developing highly transferable skills in SEO, paid media, and data analysis.

Qualifications
- Current student (junior/senior), master’s student, or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, Analytics, or a related field who is either a NJ resident attending an out of state school or attending a NJ school
- Strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new digital marketing tools quickly.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects.
- Familiarity with SEO, PPC, or digital marketing analytics is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities, duties, and projects
- SEO Support: Conduct keyword research, optimize website content (titles, meta descriptions, headers), improve technical SEO (site speed, indexing, crawlability), and assist with on-page and off-page strategies. Monitor SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Paid Media Support: Monitor and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn. Perform competitive analysis, test ad copy variations, and identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare performance summaries and actionable insights for campaign optimization.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on SEO and paid media performance. Analyze data to identify patterns, insights, and recommendations. Support A/B testing initiatives to improve campaign outcomes.
