Summer Camp Counselor

About Sunrise Day Camp
Sunrise Day Camp, for children ages 3½–16, is the only dedicated full-summer day camp in the world for children with cancer and their siblings. Our mission is to meet the emotional, social, recreational, and physical needs of these children while allowing them to enjoy the comforts and safety of their own homes at night.

Sunrise offers a full, multi-week summer camp program as well as year-round camp-like experiences, including off-site programs and our in-hospital initiative, Sunrise On Wheels, which brings the joy of camp to children awaiting treatment.

Best of all, Sunrise Day Camp is offered free of charge to all campers. By raising funds externally, we help ease the financial and emotional burden families face throughout the year. Children who receive medical clearance from their physicians are welcome to attend camp for any and all days they feel well enough to participate.
