DoD Operations Representative

Kitty Hawk Technologies, a growing service and technology innovator, is seeking talented and motivated professionals to deliver lean and effective solutions to our government partners. We have an immediate opening for an Operations Representative to join our team. This position will provide an opportunity to develop the innovative technology that supports some of our nation’s most important defense initiatives. Kitty Hawk Technologies is currently seeking an Operations Representative in support of DoW engineering services to work in the Dahlgren, Virginia, area.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinates with the DoW Prototypes & Experiments (P&E) team, the services, industry partners, and various ranges to plan and execute complex, cross-domain exercises to validate prototypes and experiments feasibility to close mission gaps
  • Works with exercise planners to integrate prototypes into risk reduction, graduation, Experiments, and joint exercise events with regards to OPlans, OPFOR, and Logistics requirements
  • Supports Initial, Mid, and Final Planning conferences and site surveys to define kill chains, evaluate site infrastructures, and define objectives and measures of success for experimentation events
  • Coordinates extensively with services to integrate warfighters into events to support the evaluation of prototypes and experiments
  • Briefs experiments plans and provides status updates to DoW Experiments team
  • Travels to RREs, field events, and joint exercises to support execution of Experiments plans

 

Required Qualifications:

  • At least Ten years of DoD Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, or US Military Operational Experience
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to gain SCI or active TS/SCI Eligibility – U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Experience supporting large-scale joint exercises or joint operational planning
  • Experience coordinating test events with range personnel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian staff at the Pentagon

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience supporting large-scale joint exercises
  • US Navy Surface Combat Systems Experience
  • At least Fifteen years of DoD Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, or US Military Operational Experience
  • Experience supporting joint fires
  • Active TS/SCI
  • B.S. in a STEM Field

 

Travel:

  • Extensive travel is required to support this position to include both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000-$130,000 per year
