Project Engineer (Construction)
A&E Construction Co. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The person will work closely with project managers, and the project team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning and scheduling (timelines, milestones, deliverables)
- Review and manage construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and engineers
- Track project progress, costs, and budgets
- Prepare and process:
- RFIs (Requests for Information)
- Submittals
- Change orders
- Conduct site visits to monitor work and ensure quality/safety standards
- Help enforce safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Maintain and distribute project documentation and reports
- Support the preparation of Weekly Reports to owner
- Prepare Close-Out packages for projects
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management or related field
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project is a plus
- Knowledge of Procore is helpful
