Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings
- Produce accurate and timely lighting fixture and controls take-offs
- Identify discrepancies in specifications and drawings with design team
- Request pricing and lead times through manufacturers and sales reps
- Produce comprehensive and timely lighting proposals
- Review lighting changes within drawing bulletins/addendums and update quotes accordingly
- Collaborate with Sales team on all proposals
- Collaborate with Project Management team in review lighting scope changes within drawing bulletins/addendums.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- An Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Experience in Lighting Estimating 1-2 years (a plus)
- Experience in reviewing construction plans, specifications, and other related construction documents
- Experience with Bluebeam, Crossfire and Oasis software (a plus)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- High attention to detail
- Excellent quantitative and analytical math skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Positive and proactive customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time
Hourly Range - $ 20.00 - $ 22.00 per hour
Hourly Rate will be determined based upon experience level.

Education:
- Associates Degree - minimum
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Lighting estimating: 1– 2 years (Preferred)
