Programmer/Analyst – Benefit Administration and Enrollment Technology Company

Position Overview:

As a Programmer/Analyst at Northstead Forza, LLC, you will be a key contributor to our software development and production efforts. You will work closely with a team of passionate professionals to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge software solutions that drive positive change in the employee benefits sector. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will play a crucial role in our mission to revolutionize the benefit technology arena.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business process owners, outside clients, product managers, designers, and fellow developers, to define software requirements and specifications.

  • Architect, design, and implement complex software features and modules, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in alignment with coding standards and best practices.
  • Debug and resolve software issues promptly, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on our platform.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
  • Build, Support and Maintain our production systems.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited US College or University in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like PHP, Python, Java, C++, or similar.
  • Familiarity with EDI solutions, XML, Flat Files, CSV, Excel.
  • Familiarity with API technology.
  • Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Experience with back-end development frameworks and databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, Non-SQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative tech environment.
  • Experience in point-of-sale solutions, enrollment solutions and the insurance industry are a plus.
