Summer Intern Quality Assurance

Job Title: Summer Intern – Quality Assurance (Screen Print Department)
Location: G&G Outfitters, Inc.
Department: Screen Print / Production
Duration: Summer Internship (May–August, flexible based on academic schedule)

Position Overview:
G&G Outfitters is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Summer Intern to support our Quality Assurance efforts within the Screen Print Department. This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment, focusing on maintaining product quality, improving processes, and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and interested in manufacturing, apparel decoration, or quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing quality inspections on screen printed garments before, during, and after production 
• Verify artwork accuracy, color consistency, print placement, and overall product quality against customer specifications 
• Support documentation and reporting of quality issues, including tracking defects and identifying trends 
• Partner with production team members to address and resolve quality concerns in real time 
• Help maintain quality standards, procedures, and checklists 
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors 
• Ensure work areas are organized and compliant with company safety and quality standards 
• Assist with other production or administrative tasks as needed 

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred) 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment 
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) 
• Interest in manufacturing, production, or quality assurance processes 

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Familiarity with screen printing or apparel production 
• Experience with quality control or inspection processes 
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
