Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles Teacher

An established private preparatory school in Rowland Heights, California, is seeking charismatic Advanced Placement Principles High School teachers for a remote part-time position.

Candidate should:

  • Have finished a Bachelor's degree
  • Ideally, College Board Certified to teach AP  Computer Science Principles
  • Ideally, have a teaching credential
  • Experience teaching AP Computer Science Principles online using Zoom
  • Be versed in classroom management online
  • Have 6 months of AP Computer Science Principles teaching experience
  • Have experience working with high school-aged students
  • Must have reliable internet and computer
  • Commit to a set teaching schedule on Friday from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm PST from June 12th to August 7th, plus 3 Sundays, August 16th - 30th from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Positions:

(Classes are Pacific time)

  • AP Computer Science Principles Friday 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm
  • AP Computer Science A Saturday 1:30 pm -5:30 pm
  • AP Physics 2: Friday 1:30 pm -5:30 pm
  • AP Physics C: Friday 9 am -1 pm

Hiring Locations: Remote
