Part-Time Coding & Programming Instructor (Scratch Programming) – Homestead, FL
Learn2Code.Live is seeking motivated and tech-savvy Coding Instructors to teach in-person Scratch Programming classes for K–12 students in Homestead, FL.
Location: 16001 SW 248th St, Homestead, FL 33031 (In-Person)
Pay Rate: $25–$35 per hour

Learn2Code.Live delivers hands-on, interactive coding and programming experiences for K–12 students. We’re looking for enthusiastic instructors who enjoy working with kids and are excited to teach foundational programming skills through Scratch, helping students build games, animations, and interactive stories while developing problem-solving skills.

What You’ll Do
- Lead engaging Scratch Programming lessons for elementary, middle, and high school students
- Teach foundational coding concepts such as sequencing, loops, events, conditionals, and variables
- Use our structured, ready-to-teach curriculum to guide students through hands-on projects
- Create a fun, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and logical thinking through interactive activities
- Adapt instruction for different age groups and learning styles (K–12)
- Track student progress and provide constructive, encouraging feedback
- Offer individual and small-group support as needed
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and the Learn2Code.Live team
- Manage classroom flow and maintain a positive learning environment
- Share feedback to help improve curriculum and instructional delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Current Computer Science student, recent graduate, or someone with strong interest in coding and education
- Familiarity with Scratch preferred (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or C/C++ is a plus
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using classroom technology
- Creative, adaptable, and able to keep students engaged
- Patient, empathetic, and able to explain concepts in multiple ways
- Comfortable working with K–12 students in a classroom setting
- Organized, reliable, and able to independently manage in-person classes
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is a plus—but not required
