Summer Camp Lifeguard

Camp Modin has summer job openings on our Lifeguard Team. Camp Modin is looking for motivated, energetic, positive, and caring individuals to join our staff for this summer! Many of our staff, from a variety of majors, have been able to get internship credit through their schools. We provide great salaries, as well as housing, laundry, and meals for the summer. Come to Camp Modin to have the best summer of your life!

What sets Modin apart is our tight-knit community, our facilities, and the magnificent waterfront nestled on the shores of Salmon Lake. Our breathtaking facilities include over one hundred watercraft, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, a gymnastics gym, a dance studio, three soccer fields, a new baseball facility, a trapeze, a street hockey rink, brand new tennis and pickleball courts, and more!

Our Lifeguards are responsible for our waterfront. You will lifeguard on our aqua park, ensure the safety of our campers and staff,  uphold the rules of our waterfront, aid any campers or staff, assist with any issues, respond to any emergencies. You will also teach SWIM INSTRUCTION to our campers and help develop their swimming skills. 

All of our lifeguards get Red Cross certified during training. All of our staff live IN BUNK with the campers and we are looking for staff ages 18-25.

• Sports: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Football, Floor Hockey, Lacrosse, Tennis, Pickleball, Gymnastics
• Water Activities: Swim Instruction, Waterski, Wakeboarding, Tubing, Kneeboarding, Paddleboarding, Canoe/Kayaking, Sailing
• Creative Arts: Arts & Crafts, Ceramics, Guitar, Drums, Theater, Nature, Dance
• Adventure: High Ropes Course, Climbing Tower, Camping, Outdoor Adventure

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Lifeguarding or Swimming experience
• Motivated, Hardworking, Dedicated
• Positive Individual
• Want to make a difference in the lives of kids
• Experience working with kids is a plus

• Housing in dormitory style cabins

• Salaries start at $3,000 for the summer, but increase based on skill and age!
• $500 completion bonus
• Got skills? We pay more! Extra pay for specialized skills starting at $500-$1000+
• Up to $500 travel stipend (for distances greater than 450 miles)
• $100 “refer-a-friend” bonuses (for hired individuals who arrive to work at camp)
