Project Assistant

The basic function of a Project Assistant is to perform administrative duties related to the operations of the department. 

 

  1. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Run transmittals and physical samples to the General Contractor.
  • Conduct site visits for gathering schedule updates, Foreman action items, GC action items, and assisting in new initiatives.
  • Monitor and review update documentation (i.e. RFIs, CCDs, ASIs, Bulletins, etc.).
  • Price up Tickets and Change Order work.
  • Generate logistical plans and build out the project's Gantt Chart.
  • Generate Submittal Packages, Transmittals, Shop Drawings, and maintain material records and any resubmittals.
  • Maintain BlueBeam, SharePoint, etc.
  • Review Dailies and Production Reports.
  • Receive and distribute departmental reports.
  • Schedule and organize appointments, take minutes during departmental meetings.
  • Proof and type documents and correspondence produced by the department. 
  • Process, sort, scan, and file weekly field-related documents.
  • Aid in the preparation of department reports.
