Project Assistant
The basic function of a Project Assistant is to perform administrative duties related to the operations of the department.
- RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Run transmittals and physical samples to the General Contractor.
- Conduct site visits for gathering schedule updates, Foreman action items, GC action items, and assisting in new initiatives.
- Monitor and review update documentation (i.e. RFIs, CCDs, ASIs, Bulletins, etc.).
- Price up Tickets and Change Order work.
- Generate logistical plans and build out the project's Gantt Chart.
- Generate Submittal Packages, Transmittals, Shop Drawings, and maintain material records and any resubmittals.
- Maintain BlueBeam, SharePoint, etc.
- Review Dailies and Production Reports.
- Receive and distribute departmental reports.
- Schedule and organize appointments, take minutes during departmental meetings.
- Proof and type documents and correspondence produced by the department.
- Process, sort, scan, and file weekly field-related documents.
- Aid in the preparation of department reports.
