Financial Data Analyst

We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical individuals to support a large-scale financial data and machine learning initiative. This project focuses on improving data quality and training models that extract insights from financial communications and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and annotate financial communication data to identify key intents such as trade requests and pricing inquiries
• Support the development and enhancement of machine learning models by providing high-quality, structured data inputs
• Analyze financial datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and key performance indicators
• Interpret and validate financial transactions, including derivatives such as options, swaps, and forwards
• Transform raw data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders
• Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP required)
• Familiarity with financial markets and instruments is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
