Position Description:
The Data Engineering Intern supports the Business Intelligence team by helping build, maintain, and monitor data pipelines that power institutional reporting and dashboards. This role provides hands-on experience working with modern data platforms and business intelligence tools while contributing to projects that support data-driven decision-making across the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Help validate and test data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability in reporting datasets.
- Assist with data transformation and documentation within the enterprise data warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with data analytics, data warehousing, or ETL/ELT concepts
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document processes and communicate technical concepts clearly.
