Construction Project Manager
Shell McElroy Construction Company, LLC is and Atlanta based general contractor and we are looking to hire construction project managers for projects withing the Metro Atlanta area. Our largest market is hospitality, but we are active within the multi-family, retail, historic restoration/adaptive re-use, office, and renovation markets as well.
Job Requirements:
- At least four (4) years commericial construction experience working with a General Contractor.
- Bachelor degree in construction, engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong documentation and organization skills
- Strong computer skills
- Team member perspective
- Hospitality/hotel experience (preferred)
- Job is not remote/hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall project leadership and administration
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Qualify and quantify all bids, value engineering proposals and constructability reviews.
- Develop and monitor the project schedule and overall productivity
- Subcontracting, change orders, etc.
- Procurement
- Managment of direct reports
- Project safety
- Financial managment of the project (pay applications, projections, etc.)
- Document control
