Forensics Engineering Internship

Barry Isett & Associates is seeking a Forensics Engineering Intern to support our Forensics Department. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world engineering investigations while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with engineering investigations related to building systems, site conditions, and structural components
• Support forensic engineers with data collection, documentation, and technical analysis
• Participate in field observations and site visits as appropriate
• Assist with report preparation, research, and organization of project materials
• Collaborate with team members across disciplines to support forensic evaluations

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or a related engineering discipline
• Strong interest in forensic engineering and investigative work
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to AutoCAD is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
