Junior Survey Project Manager
(Associate Project Director/Project Director: Policy and Polling Division)
We are seeking an Associate Project Director (APD) or a Project Director (PD) who will support our survey research work and grow in our Policy and Polling (P&P) Division. The APD/PD has a key role in our work and is responsible for coordination and dissemination of study specifications, communication between divisions, and oversight of the quality of our data. This is a junior-level project management position in Client Services with significant growth opportunity.

This is a hybrid position, based in our Glen Mills, PA office two days a week. Only local candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide research support for a wide variety of studies using different survey modalities (e.g., online, phone, paper).
- Oversee quality control of projects, including checking survey programs, mailing materials, coding, crosstabulations, datasets, and all other client deliverables.
- Communicate with internal operational teams.
- Maintain project-specific schedules and monitor timelines.
- Document project processes and procedures.
- Review and format survey questionnaires.
- Produce fieldwork and progress reports and draft basic analysis of trends and outliers.
- Prepare data reports in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Collaborate with the Research Director on client communications.
- Conduct background research.
- Perform other duties as the needs of the business dictate.
Minimum Requirements (APD or PD):
- Undergraduate degree in a related field (e.g., market research, business, data or analytics, statistics, psychology, sociology, communication, mathematics, economics) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 1+ year of experience in quantitative analysis using SPSS, SAS, STATA, or R. (Can include academic work.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Well-developed skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, including quick turnaround studies, with dexterity and responsiveness.
- Professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as projects require.
Additional Requirements for PD:
- Knowledge about survey research, data collection, data flow processes, and data analysis.
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience in a social science field or market research, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
