Invigo Retail is building smart retail technology using web software, computer vision, machine learning, and connected hardware. Our platform helps retail teams manage products, devices, users, analytics, and real-time system data.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Web Developer Intern to help build and improve our web dashboard, backend systems, and internal tools. This is a hands-on internship for someone interested in full stack web development, Laravel, APIs, SaaS platforms, and cloud-based applications.

You will work with our engineering team to help develop new features, improve existing systems, connect APIs, and support the tools used to manage Invigo Retail products.

Responsibilities

  • Help build and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • Assist with developing backend features, admin dashboards, and customer-facing tools.
  • Help design and implement REST APIs for web, mobile, hardware, and machine learning systems.
  • Work with databases to create, update, and organize application data.
  • Support frontend development when needed, including forms, tables, dashboards, and user interfaces.
  • Help test and debug software issues.
  • Assist with integrations between web systems, payment systems, hardware devices, and AI services.
  • Help improve application performance, security, and reliability.
  • Document features, APIs, setup steps, and development processes.
  • Learn and support deployment workflows using tools like GitHub, Docker, and cloud services.

Required Skills

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic experience with web development.
  • Familiarity with PHP and/or Laravel.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Basic knowledge of REST APIs.
  • Ability to write clean, organized, and maintainable code.
  • Comfortable using Git or GitHub.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn backend, frontend, and deployment workflows.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Laravel, Symfony, or another backend framework.
  • Experience with Vue, React, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
  • Basic understanding of Docker.
  • Basic experience with AWS, cloud hosting, or server deployment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Interest in SaaS platforms, dashboards, e-commerce, payment systems, IoT, or AI tools.
  • Experience working with third-party APIs or data pipelines.
