Job Summary

Responsibilities
Assist in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate estimates.
Support the development of detailed cost proposals using estimating software.
Gather and analyze pricing data from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure competitive bids.
Contribute to negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Help identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities during the estimating process.
Support the team in tracking project budgets, costs, and change orders to aid in effective cost control.
Participate in meetings with project managers, contractors, and clients to understand project scope and contractual requirements.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program related to Construction Management or a similar field.
Basic understanding of construction estimating principles and terminology.
Familiarity with estimating tools or equivalent software is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors.
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
