Product Prototype Assistant

Brooklyn-based company is looking for a person to help develop and prototype products including furniture components, game products, and reclaimed wood projects.

 

Projects may involve:

  • CNC routing
  • CAD drafting and design development
  • Prototype fabrication
  • Product testing and refinement
  • Light shop work and assembly

Ideal candidate has experience with some combination of:

  • Fusion 360, Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
  • CNC routers and CAM software
  • Woodworking or fabrication
  • Industrial design, architecture, engineering, or related fields

This is a flexible role with opportunities to work on a variety of products from concept through prototype. Suitable for an upper-level student, recent graduate, or independent designer/fabricator seeking part-time work.
