Quantum Embedded Systems Engineer

Join a small, effective team to build new quantum sensors for an extraordinarily broad range of applications, including:
- breakthrough new neuroscience tools for biomagnetic measurements of the brain and heart,
- sensors for space exploration,
- defense applications
- new types of NMR for chemistry,
- instrumentation to define the magnetic field unit, and
- probes into the fundamental nature of the universe. 
To complete these projects, we employ a broad range of skills in engineering, physics, computer science, electronics, optics, and manufacturing.

We seek an electrical engineer or physicist with very strong embedded control system design skills. the core of the work is microcontroller and/or FPGA PCB hardware design, firmware development, and testing. No specific quantum skills are required.

We seek evidence that you are highly adaptable, independent, and quick to learn new tools and techniques. The ideal candidate is creative, curious, careful, detail-oriented, and particularly strong in both oral and written collaboration and interpersonal skills.

This job is only open to US citizens. The job is in person five days a week in Plainsboro, NJ.
