IT Project Manager
Talascend is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract opportunity located in Columbus, MS.
12 month project supporting the deployment of a new IT tool. This will be an onsite role, no hybrid or remote opportunity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collecting data from end users of new IT tool; needs, pain points, suggestions.
- Creating Business Requirement Document (BRD) to send back to client.
- Managing improvements and tool evolutions as it's rolled out to end users on site.
- Working day to day with client's end customer and communicating next steps in the project and deployment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required; IT or computer sciences discipline, preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in IT roles.
- IT project management experience .
- MES (manufacturing execution systems) software experience, strongly preferred.
- Experience writing Business Requirement Document (BDR) is a plus.
- Willingness to be in a production/manufacturing environment collecting info and data from users-Walking around, not behind a desk.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- US Citizenship is required.
