3R Studios, Social Media & Content Intern
3R Academy Program | Jersey City, NJ

3R Studios is an independent streaming platform and production hub based at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ. We make original films, documentaries, and community content + we run the 3R Academy, a hands on program developing the next generation of creators and digital storytellers.

This role is for the person who lives on social media, knows what stops a scroll, and isn't afraid to be on camera. You'll be creating real content for a real brand with a real audience. If you're proactive, creative, and ready to actually do the work, you'll fit right in.

 

What You'll Do

• Turn existing 3R footage and assets into short form content for Instagram and YouTube
• Show up on camera: talking heads, series promos, project intros, behind the scenes
• Record spontaneous moments in studio and in the field
• Write captions that match the 3R voice: casual, sharp, community first
Pitch content ideas. We want someone who sees a moment and shoots it
• Research trends and formats and bring what's working into the 3R world
• Track what performs and share what you're noticing
• Support community engagement: comments, DMs, outreach

 

What We're Looking For

• Natural on camera: comfortable, engaging, not stiff
• Knows Instagram, TikTok and YouTube inside out
• Edits on CapCut, Reels, or similar | Premiere or DaVinci is a bonus
• Strong writer: captions and copy that feel human
• Self starter: you bring ideas, you don't wait to be assigned everything
• Shows up consistently

 

The 3R Academy

You'll work through a content focused assignment track: short form pieces building toward a full campaign pitch. Pass the assignments and you get the chance to lead an original 3R content campaign with full studio support.

 

Requirements

Show us something you've made: Reels, TikToks, Shorts, anything. Personal account work is fine. We just want to see how you think and how you show up.
Based in or able to come to Jersey City regularly

 

Compensation

Unpaid with academic credit available. 
Full studio access and 3R network included.
