Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, SQL, and Agile development.

The candidate will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and QA teams to develop new features, enhance existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java.
  • Develop scalable and reliable RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Build and maintain microservices-based applications using Spring Boot.
  • Analyze existing applications and implement enhancements and new functionality.
  • Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
  • Integrate third-party services and internal systems through APIs.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
  • Work with Git-based version control and CI/CD processes.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support applications in development, testing, and production environments.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
  • Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging platforms.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
  • Knowledge of React, Angular, or other frontend technologies.
  • Experience with Python is a plus.
  • Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
