WE'RE HIRING! ENTRY-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

Giuseppe Bonomo Architecture, an Architectural and Civil Engineering firm (civil, structural, sprinkler) based on Staten Island, is looking for a recent graduate to grow into a Civil Engineering Project Manager role. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on training in NYC municipal filings and real project experience from day one.

What You'll Learn & Do:

  • Filing applications with the Department of Environmental Protection for House and Site Connections and Cross Connection Control Unit
  • Filing applications with the Department of Transportation for Builders Pavement Plans and Pedestrian Ramp applications
  • Filing applications with the Department of Parks and Recreation for tree planting permits
  • Working directly with senior staff to learn NYC Department of Buildings procedures and municipal agency processes
  • Supporting project managers across civil, structural, and site development projects

What We're Looking For:

  • Recent graduate (Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field)
  • Strong interest in municipal filings, site work, and civil infrastructure
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.); familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or Adobe Acrobat is a plus but not required
  • Willingness to work toward a Type II Filing Representative license with the DOB (firm support provided)
  • Ability to commute to Staten Island, NY 10312 (office is one block from the Staten Island Railway and bus stop)
