Benefits

  • Support a nonprofit that is creating opportunity, affordable housing, and community for young people.
  • Generous compensation with opportunities for leadership and rapid advancement (most Director and Manager-level staff at YPA started in Associate-level roles).

Why YPA?

The Young People's Alliance is a bipartisan nonprofit run by and for young people. Older Americans have the AARP, one of the most powerful advocacy groups in the country with 40 million members. It's a big reason our government spends 8x more on the elderly than on us.

We're building the advocacy group for young people. Over the last six years, we helped pass laws at the federal level and in over a dozen states to make rent cheaper and protect young people from Big Tech, such as the national ROAD to Housing Act and AI regulations that passed this year in 7 states. Now we're launching a membership to allow more young people to join the movement, with benefits worth $530/year, including discounts, exclusive events, a data-broker removal service, a private job board, and career/personal finance tools.
