F2F Production Intern Job Description (Credit-Based)
Location: Garment District - NYC
Schedule: 2–3 days per week minimum
Compensation: Unpaid – College Credit Only
Overview
This is a hands-on, credit-based internship designed for students who want real exposure to how a fashion brand actually operates day-to-day.
While this role includes significant administrative responsibilities, those tasks are not peripheral — they are foundational. Administrative and operational work is how brands function, scale, and stay organized. Through this role, you will gain visibility into the mechanics of running a fashion business: sourcing, fittings, supply chain communication, production workflow, brand building, and content execution.
This internship is ideal for students who understand that mastering the details is how you earn access to bigger opportunities.
What You’ll Do
This role supports daily office operations and brand execution. Responsibilities include:
Administrative & Operational Support (Core of the Role)
Assist with daily office tasks and general administrative support
Track incoming and outgoing packages (samples, production, returns)
Help manage incoming calls and shared inboxes
Keep office inventory, supplies, and sample areas organized
Send and respond to emails under team guidance
Data entry: build/edit Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, and PowerPoint presentations
Follow up on open tasks and communicate status updates
Run errands and local pickups when needed
These responsibilities provide direct exposure to how a brand manages product flow, vendor relationships, timelines, and internal communication.
Brand & Creative Exposure
Support research for creative and operational projects
Observe fittings and learn basic fashion production terminology
Assist with social media ideation and online outreach
Participate in weekly WWW filming and posting
Gain exposure to sourcing, development, and global supply chain communication

Requirements
Currently enrolled in a relevant college program (Junior or Senior only)
Must receive college credit (this is an unpaid internship)
Previous office, retail, or internship experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, accountable, and able to manage time effectively
Available 2–3 days per week minimum
