Design & AI Project Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative student to support a substantial residential development project in Greenwich, Connecticut. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity designed for a student interested in architecture, interior design, spatial design, visualization, or related digital-design fields.

The role will primarily be remote, with occasional opportunities for on-site meetings in Greenwich. The ideal candidate is highly organized, visually minded, comfortable with AI-enabled design tools, and able to work independently.

This position offers hands-on exposure to a significant residential project while working alongside experienced professionals. The role is intended to support project organization, research, visualization, and internal design coordination. Licensed architects and other professionals will remain responsible for all technical design, code, engineering, and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain project drawings, reference imagery, research materials, and product information
  • Use AI (Claude, ChatGPT) to assist with concept development, research, and project organization
  • Develop visual concept boards and presentations to communicate design ideas and inspiration
  • Research materials, finishes, fixtures, furnishings, products, and other design elements
  • Maintain a clear action, decision, and follow-up tracker to support project organization

 

Qualifications

  • Current student studying architecture, interior design, spatial design, visualization, digital design, or a related field
  • Strong visual and design sensibility
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with digital design, visualization, and AI-enabled tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple ongoing tasks
  • Strong research and communication skills
  • Interest in residential architecture, interiors, and development
  • Experience creating mood boards, concept boards, renderings, or other visual presentations is a plus
