Summer Investment Technology Analyst

As an Investment Technology Intern, you will gain exposure to a wide range of technology and how it is used to manage different investment types across asset classes. You will work directly with all levels of the PRINCO staff with a majority of the time spent with the Technology team who is responsible for managing the Endowment’s technology systems and identifying process improvements through the use of technology.
The Investment Technology Intern will work on development projects to assist in the collecting, verifying, analyzing and reporting of investment related information.
 In general, the applicant will play a role in continuing efforts to improve departmental operational efficiency through automation and increased use of technology.

As an Investment Technology Intern, you will be given meaningful responsibilities from your first day. There will be brief training sessions complemented by extensive on the job learning, as well as formal and informal mentoring.
 
Qualifications
 
In order to be effective, the candidate should be comfortable with learning and utilizing various technology platforms and applications such as Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will be in their junior year and have:

·        Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills;
·        A passion for technology;
·        Great attention to detail and accuracy;
·        Ability to be flexible and work effectively in a team environment;
·        Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
·        A strong work ethic, and be extremely reliable;
·        An excellent academic record, regardless of major.
