DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) consists of three one-year rotations that provide a wide variety of work assignments in Bio-medical manufacturing and technology. MDP engineers will gain cross functional exposure to process engineering, manufacturing support, project management, lean manufacturing, quality and design. Through these work assignments, MDP engineers will gain cross functional exposure to process engineering, manufacturing support, project management, lean manufacturing, quality and design.
Each year, MDP engineers relocate to a new U.S. location, allowing for a diverse experience with new products, processes and people. To facilitate MDP associates’ rotation through three locations in three years, relocation support will be provided to those who qualify.  Previous rotations include: San Jose CA, Canaan CT, Baltimore MD, Columbus NE, Franklin Lakes NJ, Sandy UT, Miami FL, Andover, MA and Sumter SC.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
  • B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical or Bio-Mechanical Engineering (equivalent engineering degrees may also be considered if previous manufacturing experience is particularly strong)
  • Current Students: Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Experience
  • Current Students: Prior internship/co-op in engineering
  • Recent Alumni: 1-2 year(s) experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be willing and able to relocate three times in three years
  • Strong desire for a career in manufacturing
  • An ability to adapt quickly to new environments
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction as to duration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exposure to working with a cross functional team (Capstone Projects)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for philanthropic outreach/community relations
