PHP Developer
PCI Enterprises recently moved to Texas and we are looking for a few motivated individuals that will thrive in a fast paced, fun, and exciting work environment (in a really cool office!).
We are a young, fast-growing company that is vertically integrated as an online retailer, online distributor, and a manufacturer of specialty products. We design, build, and run dozens of specialty e-commerce websites while also partnering with companies like Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, and Houzz.
Responsibilities:
· Design and develop new web sites and applications for our customers, vendors, or employees
· Create programs that automate business processes and increase the efficiency of our employees.
· Add additional features to and maintain existing web sites and applications
Required Skills
· PHP (2+ years experience)
· SQL/MySQL (2+ years experience)
· Comfortable using GIT or other source control systems
· Solid understanding of Object Oriented design
Desired Skills (optional)
· Familiar with front end frameworks such as Bootstrap & JQuery
· Familiar with AJAX techniques
· HTML
· Javascript
· CSS
· Familiar with Magento, Miva Merchant, or X-Cart platforms
· Familiar deploying and running code on Linux servers
· Familiar working with CRMs/ERPs (such as Netsuite)
· Experience working with SOAP/REST APIs
· Ecommerce experience
· Experience with EDI or other business automation areas
Required Qualifications
· A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or at least 2 years experience in a related field
